Lululemon reshuffles leadership for China and APAC regions
Lululemon has announced a leadership overhaul for its China and Asia-Pacific (APAC) operations to drive growth in these key markets. San Yan Ng, who has served as the general manager of Lululemon’s China business for eight years, has been promoted to regional president of China and APAC.
Joining the leadership team is Jeffrey Hang, who has been appointed as senior vice president and general manager of APAC. Hang joins the company from a luxury background, having previously held roles at Bulgari and LVMH-affiliated brands.
The company is moving to a shared leadership structure for China and APAC to better leverage market insights and scale capabilities. This strategic shift follows recent financial trends where Lululemon saw 13 percent same-store sales growth in Mainland China, helping to offset a 6 percent decline in North American same-store sales during the first quarter.
