Lumen Christi factory produces special candles for Pope Leo XIV visit

The Lumen Christi candle factory in Lomas del Mirador, Argentina, has launched a special commemorative candle in anticipation of the upcoming visit by Pope Leo XIV, scheduled for November 8–11.

Owners Pablo Mariano and Diego José Bruzzese explained that the factory, which has produced religious candles since 1960, adapted an existing product format to include the Pontiff's image, the Argentine flag, a prayer, and a reference to November 2026. The workshop utilizes both mechanized processes for rapid coloring and manual methods for larger items, such as Easter candles that require a six-month curing period. Due to the expected demand surrounding the papal visit, the owners anticipate increasing production levels.
