Luminance appoints Don Riddick as Chief Legal Officer

Luminance, a global provider of Contract Intelligence, has appointed Don Riddick as its new Chief Legal Officer (CLO). In this role, Riddick will oversee the company’s legal, governance, and compliance functions, manage legal risk, and advise the Board on material matters to align legal strategy with business goals.

Riddick joins Luminance from amotivv, where he served as Founding Principal and Chief of Strategy. His previous experience includes serving as CLO and Company Secretary at Featurespace, where he led the legal department through its acquisition by Visa in December 2024. His professional background also includes roles at IBM, McKesson, and Total System Services.

Riddick brings unique insight to the position as a former Luminance customer. While at Featurespace, he utilized the platform to analyze legacy contractual commitments, which reportedly replaced weeks of manual research with rapid data for executive reporting. He holds patents in artificial intelligence and blockchain, with an additional patent pending regarding AI compliance.
