Luminosity secures Logitech G Play Connect playoff spot

Luminosity has secured a spot in the Logitech G Play Connect playoffs in Warsaw after finishing the best-of-one group stage with a 3-2 record. The team's qualification was finalized following a decisive 13-11 victory over Ninjas in Pyjamas on Ancient.

Luminosity's path to the knockout stage involved a mixed performance in Group A. After an initial 13-7 loss to GamerLegion on Nuke, the team recovered with a 13-9 win over Metizport on Mirage. They subsequently suffered a narrow 11-13 defeat to group leaders B8 on Dust2 before rebounding with a dominant 13-4 win against M80 on Ancient. The final victory against NIP prevented a three-way tie that would have seen NIP advance instead.

Aleks ‘Rainwaker’ Petrov was a standout performer for Luminosity, recording high ratings across the five maps. The team's roster for the group stage included Oscar ‘AZUWU’ Bell, Rainwaker, Simon ‘yxngstxr’ Boije, afro, and Lucas ‘lux’ Meneghini. The playoffs are scheduled to begin on 19 September.
