Luminova Natal launches anti‑bullying program at Ponta Negra school

Luminova Natal has introduced a year‑long anti‑bullying initiative at a school in Ponta Negra. The project, overseen by psychopedagogue Ilizandra Cavalcante, is divided into two semesters and includes classroom discussions, debates and reflective activities aimed at fostering respect, empathy and a safe environment for students.

Activities involve students creating posters that contrast hurtful and supportive words, highlighting how everyday communication can either harm or nurture relationships. The program emphasizes that every student has a role in preventing bullying, encouraging them to become proactive contributors to a culture of peace within and beyond the school.

The initiative is part of Luminova Natal’s broader effort to address bullying’s impact on emotional development, academic performance and mental health, seeking to build lasting values among young people.
