LUMO launches New Zealand's largest roadside digital billboard in Auckland
LUMO Digital Outdoor will launch the country's largest roadside landscape digital billboard, named LUMO‑Great Southern Lights, at 898 Great South Road, Penrose, Auckland. The screen is scheduled to go live on 2 November 2026. Measuring 26.4 metres wide by 6 metres high (about 158 square metres), it is more than four times the size of LUMO’s previous hero billboard. The location links the Auckland CBD, airport, Sylvia Park, Ikea and Mt Smart Stadium, aiming to reach over 95,000 New Zealanders each week and generate roughly 2.2 million impressions.
The format offers advertisers high‑frequency exposure to commuters, trade fleets, business decision‑makers and retail customers along one of the city’s busiest arterial routes. Phil Clemas, CEO and co‑founder of LUMO, said the site provides a rare combination of scale, visibility and viewing time for brands. LUMO is currently discussing the new billboard with agencies and brands, with limited early‑access slots available for advertisers.
