Luna del Caldén implements intensive livestock rearing model in Corrientes

The Luna del Caldén establishment in Mburucuyá, Corrientes, has successfully implemented an intensive rearing model that significantly increased production capacity. Producers Enrique Cristaldo, Enrique Cristaldo, and Fernando Albornoz transitioned from delivering 300 animals every four months to approximately 500 animals every 60 days.

This transformation was achieved through improved infrastructure, specialized nutrition, intensive sanitary management, and the use of technology. The operation also utilizes a financing scheme through forward sales, allowing for future delivery commitments. The model has become a reference for the provincial Ministry of Production as it seeks to diversify and scale Corrientes' livestock industry.
