Lunata hosts charity relay race for AIL

The second edition of the ‘Due Miglia per la Vita’ relay race took place in Lunata as part of the Criterium Podistico Toscano. Dedicated to the memory of local runner Luigi Gianni, the event featured over one hundred pairs of participants.

All proceeds from the race will be donated to the Italian Association Against Leukemia, Lymphoma, and Myeloma (AIL). The winning pair in the men's category was Matteo Samaritani and Daniele Santucci from Atl. Amaranto, finishing with a total time of 18’54”. In the women's category, sisters Ioana and Andreea Lucaci from Atl. Vinci secured first place with a time of 22’04”.
