Lund waiting room birth: Woman assists in unexpected delivery

While visiting an orthopedic clinic in Lund, Sweden, to assist her daughter with a medical corset, Katharina Malm unexpectedly assisted in the birth of a baby in the clinic's waiting room.

Malm, who has previously given birth to four children, acted immediately when a woman entered the clinic in labor. After alerting staff to call an ambulance and requesting gloves and towels, Malm helped deliver the infant on the floor. The father of the child reported that emergency services had advised them to enter any available door to receive immediate help.
