Lundin Mining and Hecla Mining report second-quarter financial results

Lundin Mining reported second-quarter 2026 revenue exceeding $1.2 billion, with an adjusted EBITDA of $658 million. The results were supported by high realized copper and gold prices. The company produced approximately 76,900 tonnes of copper during the quarter. While reaffirming full-year production guidance, management noted that severe winter weather disrupted operations at the Caserones mine in Chile, which is expected to impact annual production toward the lower end of guidance.

Hecla Mining reported second-quarter revenue of $334 million and net income of $118 million. The company noted a sequential decline in revenue compared to the first quarter due to shipment timing and metal prices. Hecla highlighted strong cash generation, with Greens Creek and Lucky Friday producing record site-level free cash flow. The company maintains a net cash position of approximately $472 million with no long-term debt other than capital leases.
