Lunel hosts third Maison Rousseau community festival

The Maison Rousseau in Lunel is hosting its third annual back-to-school festival on September 12. This year’s event focuses on citizen participation and the empowerment of local residents, following the approval of the organization’s new 2026-2030 social and family project.

Activities include “agoras citoyennes,” a series of roundtables discussing resident agency and the role of social centers in fostering solidarity. The event also features a collective mural project and musical performances by Sima Joy and Piou d’Ambrosio. A new initiative, a CAF-funded tricycle named “la Guitoune,” will be introduced to reach isolated individuals and youth throughout the city’s neighborhoods.
