Lunetta Savino returns in second season of Libera on Rai 1

The second season of the Rai 1 drama ‘Libera – Il caso Elena Palma’ is set to premiere on Sunday, October 25, 2026. Lunetta Savino reprises her role as Judge Libera Orlando, who has been promoted to president of the criminal section of the Trieste court.

The new season follows Libera as she balances increased professional responsibilities with complex family dynamics. Key plotlines include the trial of Omar Alami, a rapper accused of a serious crime, and the arrival of a magistrate from Sicily, Cesare Scuderi, played by Gaetano Bruno.
