Lunit and 10x Genomics partner to discover precision medicine biomarkers

Lunit, a medical AI company, has announced a research collaboration with 10x Genomics, a Nasdaq-listed leader in spatial biology, to discover biomarkers for predicting cancer treatment responses.

The partnership aims to combine 10x Genomics’ gene analysis capabilities with Lunit’s AI pathology analysis. By integrating molecular data with pathological imaging, the companies intend to identify clues that determine which patients will respond effectively to specific anticancer drugs. 10x Genomics will incorporate Lunit’s AI biomarker platform, ‘Lunit SCOPE IO’, into its tumor research workflow.

The collaboration will focus on analyzing how tumor characteristics identified through molecular data manifest in pathological images. The companies plan to prioritize research on antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) and immuno-oncology drugs to maximize synergy in predicting therapeutic responses.
