Lunit receives Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy award for ESG management

Medical AI company Lunit has been awarded the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Commendation in the Sustainable Management (ESG) category at the 2026 Korea Productivity and Sustainable Management Innovation Awards. The ceremony was held on October 29 at the KBS Hall in Seoul.

Lunit was recognized for its systematic implementation of ESG management across environmental, social, and governance sectors. Key achievements include establishing environmental policies, participating in global initiatives, implementing ethical management, expanding medical accessibility, and respecting labor and human rights. The company also noted its recent success with EcoVadis, where it earned a silver medal for the second consecutive year, placing it in the top 9% of evaluated companies.

The broader awards ceremony, which integrated the National Productivity Awards with the Sustainable Management Awards this year, honored 19 individuals and 53 companies for their contributions to industrial competitiveness and social value creation.
