Lunit to present five AI biomarker research abstracts at ESMO 2026
Medical AI company Lunit will present five research abstracts utilizing its AI biomarker platform, ‘Lunit SCOPE’, at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) 2026 congress in Madrid, Spain.
The research includes a large-scale PD-L1 evaluation study from Japan’s ‘LC-SCRUM-Advantage/MRD’ project, comparing Lunit SCOPE’s assessments of non-small cell lung cancer surgical specimens against those of pathologists. Additionally, Lunit will share findings from the ‘AIforHER’ project conducted with France’s Institut de Cancérologie de l'Ouest (ICO), which compares AI algorithms for HER2 analysis in breast cancer.
Other presentations will cover AI-based stroma analysis in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), endothelial cell analysis in small cell lung cancer, and the prognostic value of tertiary lymphoid structures (TLS) in pan-cancer patients treated with immunotherapy. Lunit plans to operate a dedicated booth at the congress to demonstrate how its AI biomarkers analyze pathology images.
