Lupin appoints Brian Savage as President and Chief Legal Officer

Global pharmaceutical company Lupin Limited has appointed Brian Savage as its new President and Chief Legal Officer. Based in New Jersey, Savage will lead the company’s global legal, compliance, and Intellectual Property Management Group (IPMG) functions.

Savage joins Lupin from Teva Pharmaceuticals, where he held various senior leadership positions since 2015, most recently serving as Executive Vice President and Interim Global Chief Legal Officer. His previous experience includes practicing law at Dechert LLP.

Lupin’s CEO Vinita Gupta and Managing Director Nilesh Gupta stated that Savage’s legal expertise and industry knowledge will help strengthen the company’s governance framework and assist in navigating the evolving regulatory landscape to support long-term growth.
