Luque hardware store vandalized during parking dispute

A violent altercation occurred at a hardware store in Luque after a dispute over parking. The incident began when the owner of the establishment requested that 31-year-old José Abrahan Afara Romero park his vehicle more appropriately to accommodate other customers.

According to police reports, Romero refused the request and responded with aggression, striking bystanders and entering the store where he used a blunt object to cause property damage. In the ensuing struggle, others present struck Romero with a thermos, causing a cut to his eyebrow.

Police intervened following reports from both parties. Romero, who has a prior record for producing non-authentic documents, was treated at a local hospital. While Romero filed a complaint for aggression, the store owners filed a complaint for the assault and damages. The Public Ministry was notified, though the case is being treated as a private criminal action.
