Lura wildfires: Ulsi Manja demands urgent prosecution investigation
Socialist deputy Ulsi Manja has called for an urgent and thorough investigation by the Dibra Prosecution Office regarding the ongoing wildfires in the Lura National Park. Manja criticized the perceived lack of urgency from prosecutors in identifying the causes and perpetrators of the fires.
Efforts to combat the flames have involved two aircraft and over 200 personnel, including firefighters, municipal workers from Dibra, Civil Emergencies, and 51 soldiers. Manja emphasized that the investigation must go beyond merely processing forestry officials and instead focus on finding those responsible for starting the fires. He warned that if the investigation is delayed, he will request the High Inspector of Justice to verify the actions of the prosecutor in charge of the case.
