Luís Alberto Bettencourt to perform in Azores this October

Azorean musician Luís Alberto Bettencourt will perform his show, ‘Uma Viagem Íntima pela Música Açoriana’, across the islands of São Jorge and Santa Maria in October. The performances are part of the PDL26 – Ponta Delgada Capital Portuguesa da Cultura 2026 programming.

The first concert is scheduled for October 10 at the Auditório Municipal de Velas in São Jorge. A second performance will take place on October 17 at Atlântida Cine in Vila do Porto, Santa Maria. The acoustic show, lasting approximately 75 minutes, features Bettencourt accompanied by a quartet and vocalist Pilar Pacheco, aiming to revisit his musical career in an intimate setting.
