Luís Represas 50‑Year Career Concerts Set for April 2027 in Lisbon and Porto

The promoter of Luís Represas' tribute concerts announced that the two shows marking the 50th anniversary of his career will take place as scheduled on 10 April and 17 April 2027 at the Coliseu de Lisboa and the Coliseu do Porto. The events commemorate the formation of the group Trovante on 4 August 1976 and the late singer’s half‑century of work; Represas died on 22 July at age 69.

Musical direction will be provided by Manuel Faria, assisted by Carlos Garcia and Cuban pianist Miguel Núñez. Performers will include members of Trovante and the band that accompanied Represas in recent years. Tickets already purchased remain valid, and refunds can be requested through the BOL platform until 5 September.

The concerts aim to preserve Represas’ legacy and prevent his repertoire from fading from Portuguese musical memory.
