Luísa Mano designs multi-generational kitchen for Brastemp at CASACOR Minas

Architect Luísa Mano has designed a kitchen space for Brastemp at CASACOR Minas 2026, located in a historic building in Belo Horizonte. The project, themed ‘Mente e Coração’ (Mind and Heart), aims to integrate modern technology with Art Déco architectural elements to facilitate human interaction rather than mere visual display.

The design addresses multi-generational living by creating a fluid environment where younger generations can cook, work, and produce content, while older generations maintain traditional culinary rituals. The space features integrated appliances, including smart refrigerators and specialized laundry equipment, designed to function as essential infrastructure within the home.
