Luísa Sonza discusses musical evolution and maturity

Brazilian singer Luísa Sonza is reflecting on her recent musical shifts and personal growth. Following the release of her bossa nova-inspired album ‘Bossa Sempre Nova’ and her more raw, genre-blending project ‘Brutal Paraíso’, Sonza noted that her work has moved toward a more realistic portrayal of life.

Sonza stated that she has learned to ‘idealize life less’ and has become more adept at separating her private life from her professional work. This evolution comes as she prepares for a performance at the Pavilhão das Culturas Brasileiras in São Paulo as part of the Deezer Live series.

Additionally, the singer celebrated a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Reggaeton Performance for ‘Uñas Afiladas’, a collaboration with Mexican artist Sofía Reyes. Sonza expressed her intention to continue expanding her career internationally through linguistic exploration and global performances.
