Luther Barnes discusses gospel music legacy and new single

Gospel music artist and pastor Luther Barnes recently discussed his new single, ‘Lifetime,’ and his ongoing commitment to faith-based ministry. During an appearance on ‘Get Up Mornings with Erica Campbell,’ Barnes reflected on his decades of service and the influence of his late father, Reverend F. C. Barnes.

Barnes emphasized that the lyrical message of a song is more critical than its musical production, a principle he learned from his father. He also highlighted the necessity for established artists to support and promote the next generation of gospel talent to ensure the genre continues to evolve.
