Luthier alleges police brutality in Santa Rosa, La Pampa

Lautaro Ruiz, a luthier and music teacher from La Plata, has filed a complaint alleging severe physical abuse by police officers in Santa Rosa, La Pampa. The incident reportedly began following a dispute at a bus terminal regarding a high-value guitar belonging to a client, which Ruiz wished to carry personally to avoid damage.

Ruiz claims that when police arrived, they acted with hostility and destroyed his mobile phone while he attempted to record the interaction. After attempting to flee the situation, he alleges he was cornered and beaten. He specifically reported being struck in the face, having a knee placed on his neck for approximately one minute, and facing continued aggression while in a patrol vehicle and at a police station.

According to the victim, the physical assault resulted in severe bruising around the eyes, cracked ribs, and lung injuries, leaving him unable to work. Ruiz is currently seeking to identify the officers involved in the incident.
