Luuk de Jong explains departure from FC Porto

De Jong, who joined Porto from PSV on a free transfer in 2025, experienced a challenging period due to a knee injury in late 2025 that required surgery. He noted that the injury provided time to reflect on his future and his career. While he only made seven appearances for the Portuguese club, he expressed gratitude for the support provided by Porto during his rehabilitation.
