Luv FM High School Debate: Prempeh College eliminated in Round of 16

The 8th edition of the Luv FM Kel-Charcoal Toothpaste High School Debate has reached the quarter-finals stage following several intense Round of 16 contests.

In a major upset, defending champions Prempeh College were eliminated by Church of Christ SHS. The debate centered on whether adding towing services to insurance premiums is disingenuous. Church of Christ SHS secured a unanimous decision victory with a score of 242–221.

Other notable results include KNUST SHS and St. Louis Senior High School advancing to the quarter-finals. KNUST SHS defeated Afigyaman SHS in a debate regarding whether Ghana should adopt a Chinese-style elite system for presidential selection instead of popular elections. St. Louis SHS also secured a victory by defeating Konongo Odumasi SHS.
