Luxair postpones Dubai and Abu Dhabi flights due to Middle East tensions

Luxembourgish airline Luxair has announced the postponement of its planned flight services to Dubai and Abu Dhabi due to ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.

The resumption of the seasonal route to Dubai, originally scheduled for October 2026, has been moved to February 6, 2027. Additionally, the launch of a new direct service to Abu Dhabi has been delayed from October 2026 to late 2027.

The company cited the volatile security situation in the region as the primary reason for the decision. Luxair stated that the implementation of these routes will depend on further developments in the region. Affected passengers will be contacted regarding their reservations and offered various options, including full refunds.
