Luxair to launch direct flights between Luxembourg and Tirana

Luxair has announced the launch of a new direct flight route connecting Luxembourg and Tirana, Albania. Scheduled to begin on March 29, 2027, the service will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays throughout the year.

The airline identified Tirana as a high-potential market during its 2026 market study, noting it as one of Europe’s fastest-growing travel destinations. The new route aims to serve both the growing tourism interest in Albania and the existing Albanian community residing in Luxembourg and the Greater Region.

Reservations for the new route opened on September 10, 2026. Initial pricing for the Light fare starts at 129 euros, while the Smart fare, which includes checked baggage, starts at 169 euros.
