Luxeed RX electric SUV unveiled with Huawei technology

Luxeed has officially unveiled the Luxeed RX, a mid-to-large pure electric coupe SUV developed through a collaboration between Chery and Huawei. Built on the Huawei Tuling platform, the vehicle features an L3-level autonomous driving architecture and is equipped with a quad-LiDAR matrix for advanced sensing.

The SUV offers two mechanical configurations: a single-motor rear-wheel-drive version producing 376 CV and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive variant delivering up to 593 CV. Depending on the battery capacity (81 kWh or 100 kWh), the vehicle claims a range of up to 852 km under the CLTC cycle.

Interior innovations include smart enveloping seats featuring 98 pressure sensors and 27 air sacs designed to adapt to different body types and driving conditions in real-time. The vehicle's design draws aesthetic inspiration from high-end performance SUVs, characterized by a low, elongated profile and aerodynamic elements. Pre-orders for the Luxeed RX are scheduled to begin on August 20, with starting prices expected around 299,800 yuan.
