Luxeed RX unveils smart “flow design” features and adaptive seating

Luxeed product director Hai Lantian has detailed the “flow design” features of the Luxeed RX, a mid-to-large pure electric coupe SUV. Key technological highlights include an adaptive seating system utilizing 98 pressure sensors and 27 airbags to identify driver body shape and weight distribution via machine learning algorithms.

The vehicle also features active lateral support in the seats that responds within one second during cornering, a magnesium-aluminum alloy seat frame to reduce weight, and an industry-leading 1.8m² electric layered sunshade designed to block 100% of UV rays. Other functional elements include a “knock-knock” electric trunk with a 622L capacity and a D-shaped sports steering wheel optimized for local ergonomic preferences.

The Luxeed RX, which offers a maximum CLTC range of 852 km, opened for pre-orders on August 20.
