Luxembourg promotes wellness tourism through nature and new infrastructure
Luxembourg is enhancing its tourism appeal by focusing on wellness, nature, and local gastronomy. Presented by Luxembourg for Tourism in Milan, the Grand Duchy is introducing several new accommodations and itineraries to promote sustainable travel.
Key developments include the recently opened Simplevieu lodges in the Minett region and the upcoming Glamour Camping Lultzhausen in the Éislek region, scheduled for spring 2027. In the capital, the Hotel Post is expected to open by the end of 2026. For outdoor enthusiasts, the new 25.5-kilometer Mullerthal Trail ExtraTour E has been launched in Fischbach, expanding on the existing 112-kilometer Mullerthal Trail.
The Moselle region continues to highlight its viticulture, offering tours of family wineries and cooperatives. Additionally, a National Wine Museum is slated to open in spring 2027. To facilitate car-free travel, the country offers free national public transportation, including buses, trams, and second-class trains.
