Luxor water service interruption scheduled for five areas

The Luxor Water and Wastewater Company has announced a scheduled six-hour water service interruption affecting five areas in Luxor city. The outage is set to begin at midnight on Sunday and continue until 6:00 AM on Monday.

The affected areas include Al-Bahrawah, Sheikh Musa Abu Ali, Al-Sabtiya, New Karnak, and Badrano. The company stated that the interruption is necessary to integrate new water supply lines into the network, a move intended to increase water volume and improve pressure levels, particularly in the Karnak region and its surrounding villages.

To mitigate the impact, the company will deploy clean water tankers to the affected neighborhoods. Residents, as well as hospitals, bakeries, and other essential facilities, are advised to secure their water needs in advance of the scheduled maintenance.
