Luxury brands adopt sustainable materials like Merino wool and organic cotton

Luxury brands are increasingly integrating sustainable materials into high-end products to meet consumer demand for ethical manufacturing without sacrificing quality.

Bentley is introducing Merino wool into the interior of its upcoming Torcal electric SUV. Developed in collaboration with Somerset-based cloth maker Fox Brothers, the fabric is the first 100% Merino wool automotive material to be certified by the Responsible Wool Standard (RWS). The vehicle also features Ombre Veneer, a material constructed from sustainably sourced walnut off-cuts and recycled paper.

In the home goods sector, Delilah Home focuses on organic and vegan-certified textiles. The company produces 100% organic cotton bed sheets, bath towels, and kitchen towels, aiming to prove that luxury, sustainability, and affordability can coexist in everyday household items.
