Luxury brands and beauty industry expand into pet market
The luxury and beauty industries are increasingly expanding into the pet market. The Dutch cosmetics brand Rituals has launched a specialized dog care collection, featuring items such as dog perfume, dry shampoo, paw balm, mouth spray, and wet wipes. The collection is available in wellness and essential sets, complemented by accessories like collars and portable bowls.
High-end fashion brands are also integrating pets into their branding. Tommy Hilfiger recently featured a dog—a double of the Samoyed named Wendy—during a runway show in New York. Other luxury labels, including Burberry, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Ralph Lauren, and Gucci, already offer dedicated pet collections ranging from apparel like sweaters and coats to high-priced accessories.
