Luxury brands Burberry and Hermès unveil new flagship concepts in London
Burberry has announced a major transformation of its Regent Street flagship store in London, which will be reimagined as ‘Burberry House’ next year. The new concept aims to move beyond traditional retail by integrating the brand’s collections, heritage, and hospitality under one roof. Developed in collaboration with interior designer Peter Mikic, the design is intended to evoke the warmth and elegance of a British home through immersive experiences and archival displays.
The restoration will also feature the return of the historic ‘Burberrys’ clock, a cast iron and gold leaf timepiece that was previously displayed at the brand’s Haymarket headquarters. CEO Joshua Schulman described the destination as a place of discovery that combines experiential and hospitality elements.
In a separate display, Hermès Maison on New Bond Street has unveiled a new window installation titled ‘Ciel de Lit’. Designed by architects Space Popular in collaboration with craft specialist Andy Knight, the display uses nearly 500 pieces of quilted textiles to create surreal, storybook scenes. The installation draws inspiration from the Georgian architecture of the building and the brand’s 2026 creative theme, ‘Venture Beyond’.
