Luxury car market shifts in Brazil as Denza rises
The luxury automotive market in Brazil is experiencing significant shifts. In the state of Goiás, the high-end vehicle sector is growing due to local economic improvements, rising incomes, and new investments. This trend has led to the opening of new dealerships for renowned brands, aiming to establish the region as a major hub for premium automobiles.
Nationally, the premium segment saw a major development in September as the Chinese brand Denza, part of the BYD group, became the second best-selling premium car brand in Brazil. Denza recorded 698 registrations, capturing an 18.4% market share for the month. This performance placed the brand ahead of established manufacturers such as Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, and Audi for that period, trailing only BMW, which led the segment with 1,230 units sold.
