Luxury Escapes launches new 13‑day Taiwan tour for 2027

Luxury Escapes announced a 13‑day premium guided tour of Taiwan scheduled for 2027, its first new Taiwan itinerary in six years. The launch follows a 53 % year‑on‑year rise in booking orders for the island, which welcomed more than 4.5 million international visitors this year.

The itinerary runs the length of Taiwan, covering Taipei, Sun Moon Lake, the dramatic east coast, and the southern cities of Tainan and Kaohsiung, with stops in Hualien, Taitung and Yilan. Highlights include a ride on the Breezy Blue coastal sightseeing train, visits to Raohe Night Market, Kavalan Distillery, a tea plantation, Anping Old Fort and the National Palace Museum. Accommodations feature the Fleur de Chine Hotel, Le Méridien Hualien and Sheraton Taitung, with meals at Din Tai Fung’s Taipei 101 flagship and Tainan’s Du Hsiao Yueh. Prices start at US$6,185 per person. CEO Adam Schwab said Taiwan’s visa‑free entry for Australian passport holders and its blend of culture, food and scenery make it a fast‑growing favourite for Australian travellers.
