Luxury hotel brands Waldorf Astoria and Conrad announce Kuala Lumpur debuts

Two major luxury hospitality brands, Waldorf Astoria and Conrad Hotels & Resorts, have opened reservations for new properties in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, both scheduled to debut in late 2026.

The Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur will be the brand's first entry into Malaysia. Located in the Golden Triangle near the Petronas Twin Towers, the all-suite urban retreat will feature 268 accommodations. The hotel plans to introduce “Layan Tetamu,” a hospitality philosophy centered on personalized service, and will host dining concepts by chefs Garima Arora and Jean-Georges Vongerichten.

Conrad Kuala Lumpur also marks the group's debut in the country. Situated in the Golden Triangle near Bukit Bintang, the hotel will offer 481 rooms and suites. The property will include the Conrad Ballroom, a dedicated spa, and the “Local Gathering” program designed to provide neighborhood-focused experiences.
