Luxury hotel developments announced for Seville province
Two major luxury hospitality projects are set to expand the tourism offerings in the Seville province of Spain by 2027.
Bodegas Góngora plans to open a luxury hotel in Villanueva del Ariscal in February 2027. Located in a historic family home with viticultural roots dating back to 1641, the boutique establishment will feature 16 unique rooms. It is expected to be the first in the region to join the Relais & Châteaux association. The project focuses on high-quality enotourism, featuring museum-style visits, corporate event spaces, and a specialized high-level culinary kitchen.
Separately, AZZ Hoteles is transforming Hacienda La Boticaria in Alcalá de Guadaíra, with a scheduled reopening in the spring of 2027. Acquired by Grupo Visasur, the 100-hectare complex will target premium tourism, wellness, and the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) sector. The development includes 130 rooms, a large-scale event space called Salón Sevilla capable of hosting over 2,000 people, a wellness center, botanical gardens, and a Carriage Museum.
