Luxury hotels in Japan announce 2026 Christmas menus
Luxury hotels in Japan are unveiling their 2026 holiday offerings, including specialized Christmas cakes and fine dining menus.
The Kahala Hotel & Resort Yokohama has announced four distinct Christmas cakes. The selection includes the “Macaronnade,” featuring vanilla mousse and berry jelly sandwiched in macaron dough, and the “YUZU Chocolat Christmas,” a nine-layer dessert utilizing premium Kito yuzu from Tokushima Prefecture. Other options include a coffee-infused “Sapin de Noël Opera” and a baked cheesecake styled as a Christmas wreath.
In Tokyo, Pullman Tokyo Tamachi is hosting exclusive Christmas dinner courses on December 24 and 25. The menu features high-end ingredients such as Japanese tiger prawn wrapped in kataifi, roasted bone-in lamb chops, and Australian sirloin steak. The hotel is also offering holiday sweets, including the “La forêt d’or,” an eight-layer cake designed to resemble a golden forest, and a classic strawberry shortcake.
