Luxury Lodges of Australia announces major development program

Luxury Lodges of Australia has unveiled a series of five major initiatives and investments scheduled to take place through May 2027. The program includes refurbishments, new villa openings, and expanded expeditions across Queensland, Tasmania, Western Australia, and the Northern Territory.

Key developments include the recent reopening of Orpheus Island Lodge on the Great Barrier Reef following a six-month refurbishment of its North Beachfront accommodations. In Tasmania, Saffire Freycinet is set to debut the Saffire Jewel, an 800-square-meter private villa, in December 2026.

Further projects include a $5 million refurbishment of Sal Salis Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia, scheduled to reopen in March 2027, and the reopening of Bullo River Station in the Northern Territory. The program will culminate in May 2027, coinciding with the 40th anniversary of True North Adventure Cruises.
