Luxury real estate sales recorded in Norway

High-end real estate transactions have been recorded in Norway, including a significant sale on Hvasser and a luxury villa sale in Bergen.

In Færder municipality, Magnus Halvorsen and Julie Ba Flaaten Halvorsen purchased the property Nordhavna 10 and 11 on Hvasser for 59.5 million NOK. The purchase, made through the investment company MH Capital, represents one of the year's most expensive holiday home transactions. Halvorsen has built his wealth through stock investments and his involvement with the dry bulk shipping company 2020 Bulkers.

In Bergen, a luxury villa at Kyrkjetangen has sold for just over 42 million NOK to a foreign buyer. The 600-square-meter property, which features a private pier and views over Nordåsvannet, was on the market for nearly two years and underwent three price reductions from an initial asking price of 49 million NOK. The buyer reportedly intends to use the residence for vacation and business purposes rather than as a permanent home.
