Luxury watchmakers embrace vibrant colors and bold designs
The luxury watch industry is shifting away from traditional palettes of black, navy, and silver toward more assertive colors. Orange, once used primarily for its high visibility in dive watches and oceanographic equipment, has transitioned from a functional tool color to a symbol of playful luxury.
Notable examples of this trend include the Hermes H08 Chronographe, which features a carbon-fibre composite case with orange accents and a bright orange rubber strap. Other brands are also utilizing vibrant dials, colorful straps, and avant-garde hues to express craftsmanship and personality, with models from Omega, TAG Heuer, Piaget, Rolex, and Hublot among those highlighting diverse color palettes.
