Luxury watchmakers showcase high-end horological innovations

Luxury watchmakers are showcasing high-end craftsmanship and engineering through new releases and exclusive events. Arnold & Son has introduced the Perpetual Moon 41.5 Platinum Horse of the Dunes, a limited edition timepiece featuring a 950 platinum case and a black aventurine glass dial designed to resemble a starry night sky. The watch includes an 18-carat white gold horse appliqué and a moon phase indication visible through a sapphire crystal caseback.

In Geneva, IWC Schaffhausen is participating in the second edition of Time Journey. The IWC Innovation Lab will demonstrate mechanical complexities, including an oversized IWC-ProSet caliber. This mechanism features a perpetual calendar that can be adjusted both forward and backward via a single crown, ensuring that the date, day, month, year, and moon phase remain synchronized without damaging the movement.
