Luxury Yacht Charter Market Records High-Value Sales in H1 2026

Edmiston reported 21 superyacht transactions over 30 metres in the first half of 2026, including 15 sales in the last 15 weeks. The combined length of the yachts was nearly 1,200 metres and the transactions exceeded €1.1 billion in value, even as overall sales volume fell 13% year‑on‑year and market value dipped 7%. The broker highlighted the delivery of the 102‑metre Lürssen‑built NIXIE to its charter fleet, underscoring continued demand for the largest vessels.

Meanwhile, Italian charter brand Sailuxe, founded in 2019, has seen turnover rise almost thirteen‑fold and bookings more than double since 2024. Offering fully crewed catamarans with hotel‑level service, private chefs and bespoke itineraries, the company emphasises privacy and personalization. Industry forecasts project the global yacht charter market to grow from about $9.7 billion in 2026 to $18.2 billion by 2034, reflecting strong growth in luxury maritime tourism.
