Luxury yacht industry sees new designs from Tecnomar and BAZ Yacht Design

The luxury yacht sector features new developments from Italian builder Tecnomar and BAZ Yacht Design. Tecnomar has introduced ‘THIS IS IT’, a 142-foot catamaran characterized by a sculptural silhouette and over 600 square meters of glass. The vessel includes six staterooms, an owner’s suite with a vertical garden, and a full onboard spa. It is powered by twin MTU 16V engines, reaching a top speed of 21.5 knots.

Meanwhile, BAZ Yacht Design has completed preliminary engineering for the Mobu 33 yacht concept. Measuring 108 feet, the design focuses on a ‘social performance’ layout centered around a 12-foot-high atrium that connects the main and lower decks. The concept aims for a top speed of 32 knots and utilizes an architectural approach to facilitate social interaction and connectivity to the sea.
