Luxury yachts Deep Blue and Majesty 72 featured in maritime news

A luxury mega yacht named Deep Blue, valued at approximately 450 million euros, was recently spotted in the waters of Sardinia between Costa Smeralda and Tavolara. Built by the German shipyard Lürssen, the 137-meter vessel features two swimming pools, a helipad, and interiors designed by the British firm Andrew Winch Design. The yacht is equipped with MTU engines, capable of reaching speeds of 20 knots, and can accommodate 24 guests with a crew of over 45 people. While the owner's identity remains unconfirmed, some reports attribute the vessel to JD founder Richard Qiangdong Liu.

In separate maritime news, the Majesty 72 yacht underwent sea trials conducted by The International Yachting Media. The 22-meter vessel demonstrated high performance, reaching a maximum speed of 29.3 knots and a fast cruise of approximately 25 knots. Powered by twin MTU V10 engines, the yacht was noted for its stability and smooth navigation even in rough sea conditions, offering interior volumes and comfort levels comparable to larger superyachts.
