Luzerna municipality in Santa Catarina opens temporary hiring process

The Prefeitura de Luzerna (Santa Catarina) announced Processos Seletivo Simplificado nº 001/2026, accepting online applications from 28 May to 7 June 2026 at no charge. The selection offers eight temporary positions: Agent of Cup and Cleaning, Merendeira (cafeteria worker), Técnico em Enfermagem (technical nurse) and Professor de Espanhol (Spanish teacher). Contracts start for six months, renewable for a further six months, except the Spanish‑teacher role which may last one year.

Salaries range from R$ 2,060.82 for cleaning staff to R$ 3,400 for the nursing role, with a daily meal allowance added to each wage. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, have regular electoral status, and meet health and legal requirements; men must also be regular with military service. Selection will be based on documented time of service (up to ten years) and, for the teaching post, academic qualifications such as specialization, master’s or doctorate degrees. All results will be posted on the municipal website and the official state journal.
