Álvarez Condarco School renovation bids opened in Chajarí

The Government of Entre Ríos has opened bids for the restoration and enhancement of School No. 2 Álvarez Condarco in Chajarí, located in the Federación department. The project has an official budget of 454 million pesos and is funded by provincial resources.

The renovation will cover 1,630 square meters and is expected to be completed within 150 days. The works aim to benefit 550 students by addressing issues such as humidity and structural deterioration. Specific tasks include waterproofing roofs, repairing cracked loads, reconstructing damaged ceilings, restoring and painting wooden carpentry, and installing new rainwater drainage lines in the courtyard.

Built in 1911, the building is a piece of local historical heritage. The project seeks to improve educational spaces while preserving the original architectural characteristics of the site. Several companies have submitted bids for the contract, including Cemyc S.R.L., Peterson Orlando José María, Antolín Fernández S.A., Covi S.A.S., Baffic S.A.S., Luxe Obras y Proyectos Cooperativa de Trabajo Limitado, and Ernesto Ricardo Hornus S.A.
