Álvaro Arbeloa criticizes Fulham attitude after Sunderland defeat

Fulham manager Álvaro Arbeloa expressed strong dissatisfaction with his team's performance following a 1-0 defeat against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light. Despite controlling possession during the match, the Cottagers failed to capitalize on their opportunities.

Arbeloa criticized the squad's lack of effort, technical quality, and competitive mentality. The decisive goal was scored in the 78th minute by Wilson Isidor after a defensive error.

The Spanish coach emphasized that the team must improve its character and ambition to compete in the Premier League, following a winless start to the season that includes a previous loss to Chelsea.
